NDC Parliamentary Candidate in the Sunyani West Constituency, Millicent Amankwaah Yeboah has provided electricity at the Chiraa Market

The Parliamentary Candidate on Monday, 4th May, 2020 provided the electricity poles, and boxes of bulbs to carry out this exercise at the market.

Speaking to the media after her donation, Millicent Amankwaah Yeboah stated that she has identified some of the developmental challenges the constituents are faced with over the years and that she, in her own way, has initiated measures to provide these services for them. She added that she believes in human empowerment and that forms a major motivation to offer herself to serve the people of Sunyani West.
The markets women who benefited from this donation expressed their heart felt appreciation to the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate and louded her for coming into their aid to provide the needed tools for this project. The market women added that the lack of street light at the market over the months forced them to close from market earlier as a result of poor visibility and that the provision of these street light at the market will not only help the market women to do their businesses at night but also improve the security at the market as anyone who attempted to break into the markets at night will be seen due to the street light at the market.
The NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate few months ago, embarked on a similar exercise at Kwatire where she provided street bulbs to the community and recently embarked on the provision of mechanized boreholes at Gyaase, a suberb of Chiraa and Abaase at Dumasua.
