Nana Aba Anamoah’s Range Rover birthday gift has sparked a lot of controversies.
Apparently, it got revealed that the number plate of the car with number GR 2050-20 is registered to a Nissan Rogue car.
All these have sparked controversies on social media with people saying that Nana Aba could have faked the car gift thing just to ‘give pressure’.
Other people have also argued that it could be that the mistake was from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) since there have been instances like that.
Well, the DVLA has come out with a press release to address this issue.
In the Press Statement, the Government agency stated clearly that “the white Nissan Rogue SUV has been registered and assigned with the registration number in consonance with the Road Traffic regulation. However. checks in the system indicate that the Black Range Rover is not registered.”
They also revealed in the statement that they have launched an investigation into the issue.
“We have consequently commenced investigation into the circumstance that led to the violation of the road traffic law in this case. The Authority would not hesitate in its efforts to bring the perpetrators to face the full rigors of the law as these infractions have security and safety implications to road users”
