The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council in a press statement have stated their position in the raging social media debate on the opening of LGBTQI movement office in Ghana.
According to the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, the action of LGBTQI is affront to our long cherished religious and moral values, customs and traditions as well as the laws of the country.
According to Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, the action of the LGBTQI is against God and his institution for marriage. They therefore condemn the act and call for the closure of the alleged office.
The further called on the government to arrest everyone behind the opening of the office because it’s against the laws of the country and a potential threat to the peace and stability of Ghana.
They also prayed parliament to call on the ministry of foreign affairs and interior to explain to Ghanaians the action they have taken against the opening of the said office.
GPCC also called on president Akufo Addo to come out boldly to state his stance on the case to avoid future controversies.
