President Akufo-Addo will this evening deliver an address to the nation on the latest measures being put in place to curb the spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
The address allows the President to keep stock of measures implemented already while updating the country on new ones if the need be.
With the three weeks partial lockdown on Greater Accra, Greater Kumasi and Kasoa areas, expected to expire on Monday, April 20, 2020, the address is widely tipped to announce an extension of the lockdown.
Already, there’s intense clamouring for the partial lockdown to be intensified and extended nationwide to contain the community spread of the viral outbreak.
The country recorded its 834th confirmed case earlier today as the death toll increased to 9 with 99 recoveries.
