The Multimedia Group Limited says the current interruptions in the feed of Accra-based Joy FM is as a result of the operations of Asaase which is operating on 99.5 frequency.
Listeners of Joy FM have been challenged with intermttent interruption from another radio station.
A statement from the Media Group said ” Dear Discerning Listener, We have received numerous messages of concern about the difficulties you have experienced recently, in tuning in to your superstation, Joy 99.7 FM.
This is due to signal interference from a radio station, broadcasting on 99.5mhz.
We have alerted our industry regulator, the National Communications Authority (NCA), to this interference.
The Authority has informed us it is working to resolve the issue.
We will keep you updated on progress, and look forward to receiving more feedback from you about your listener experiences.
