A Twitter user has confessed to deeply hating the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Sam Dzata George.
According to the user who confessed on the social media platform, the hatred was borne out of claims that Sam George was disrespectful.
He said the sight of the young lawmaker was just a turnoff for him because he saw him as someone who does not have regard for the elderly in society.
“Forgive me for not liking you earlier, I was misled, I was told you don’t respect the elderly, especially that ET Mensah case but now I’ve seen the bigger light in you and indeed you are a good politician and an MP. I really respect you more, May God keep you safe always,” the tweet said.
Sam George who was not shocked, however, thanked the Twitter user for forming an opinion about him and not being influenced by the perception created about him by detractors.
“Thanks. I am no saint but I ain’t the devil they paint me to be either. I am work in progress. Thanks for taking time to make your own decision. cheers,” the lawmaker replied.
Sam George has been one of the leading Lawmakers fighting the current government’s introduction of worrying levies. He believes that the introduction will bring untold hardship on the people of Ghaan.
He is also at the forefront of the fight against LGBTQI+ and its related activities in Ghana. Same George and some of his colleague Members of Parliament want the act criminalized because it’s not Ghanaian.
