I don’t hate Mahama – Rawlings

Former President Jerry John Rawlings has insisted that there is no bad blood between him and the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, ABC News can report.
His comment follows a recent image that went viral on social media capturing the two former heads of state and other officials seated at funeral purporting to show rancor between him and Mr Mahama as he appeared to have isolated himself, sitting in a manner that showed his back to John Mahama and the other officials.
Describing the picture as a mischievous attempt to create disaffection, he insisted that he had not disagreements whatsoever with the Flagbearer of the NDC.
Former President Rawlings made the remarks when he signed the book of condolence for the late Victoria Adzagli Ametefee, wife of Volta Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mr. Henry K. Ametefee, who died recently in Ho.
Explaining what accounted for his decision to adjust himself in his seat in the said picture, he said he was nursing an injury from a parachute false landing several years ago, adding that the accident has resulted in chronic pain in a sitting position.
