Ghana’s senior minister, Yaw Osafo-Marfo, has tested positive for coronavirus, according to an official announcement on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.
This was announced today by the Minister of Information, Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah at a press briefing in Accra.
According to the Minister of Information, the disclosure was in consonance with the government’s transparency and with the permission of Mr Osafo Maafo.
In a separate development that has come to us this morning, Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Maafo has been informed that his sample given for test has been returned positive. He will therefore as of today commence treatment for COVID-19 from home…
Following this, Ghanaian musician cum politician, Kwame A Plus, has taken to social media to react to the news.
Reacting to the news, A Plus ttok to his Facebook and sent his regards and asked the Senior Minister to get well soon.
A Plus in the post went on to query why none of the officials of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) hasn’t contracted the deadly virus so far

But wait ooo. How come we have not heard that any NDC top official has tested positive? Anaa they are corona proof
