After journalist and host of Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom-Otchere made headlines for slamming Dr Zanetor Agyemang-Rawlings on Thursday’s edition of the show, his colleague Manasseh Azure Awuni has in an epistle claimed he [Adom-Otchere] levelled some bribery allegations against him years ago.
The television personality had in an editorial subjected Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings’ discontentment over allegations that there has been some discrimination in the distribution of food within her constituency to scrutiny.
According to the Member of Parliament, foods intended for the vulnerable at places affected by restrictions on movements were being distributed in the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) branded vehicles under the direct supervision of the NPP candidate for that constituency, adding that reports of some vulnerable persons being denied food for not possessing party cards are worrying.
For Mr. Adom-Otchere, Zanetor’s outburst was unwarranted. Among others, he asked the legislator to “stop misbehaving”.
Reacting to Adom-Otchere’s posture, Manasseh in a Facebook post, Friday, said he has been vehemently attacked by the TV host in times past, even to the extent of leveling unfounded bribery allegations against him.
