Greater Accra: Suspected lands guards burn newly built police station (VIDEO)

A group of guys believed to be land guards have allegedly set ablaze a newly built Police Station at Tebibiano near Obom in the Ga South Municipality.


The yet to be commissioned Police Station was burnt to ashes as the land guards vandalized the glass doors before ripping off the ceiling and torching furniture in the Commander’s office.

Talks in the town suggest the criminals burnt down the police station to prevent officers from interfering in their unscrupulous activities.

The Chief of the Chief of Tebibiano, Nii Quashie Amponsah has called on the police to investigate and bring the culprits to book.



According to the Assembly member of the area, Jonas Kwabena Tenge the land guards used petro to burn down the police station.
