The government of Ghana under the watch of president Nana Akufo-Addo has been doing a marvelous and commendable work. However amidst the uncertainty in the heart of many Ghanaians, the government finally confirms what will happen in Ghana before weekend.
According to several reports about the Covid’19 vaccine which the government said to have purchased but due to one thing or the other, the Covid’19 is yet to arrive the country.
But the good news is that the government has finally confirmed that the deadly coronavirus vaccine will arrive the country this week. Although there has been numerous rumors about the vaccine arrival but this was confirmed by the Head of Department of Disease Surveillance Department (DSD).
According to the Head of Department of Disease Surveillance Department (DSD) at the Ghana Health Service, Dr Franklin Asiedu Bekoe has disclosed that Ghana will be receiving approximately 500,000 doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine this week.
According to Dr Bekoe, the 500,000 doses is part of the first batch of Covid-19 vaccines Ghana is yet to receive.
We all know that this is a wonderful and great that worth celebrating because it signals a limit to Covid’19 unpredictable dangers.
Meanwhile some Ghanaians are earnestly waiting for the vaccine arrival, some set of Ghanaians are also condemning the effectiveness of the Covid’19 but whichever way, it is noted that the vaccine is not a must for all to take and it is optional but very important.
