France Ambassador to Ghana, H.E Anne Sophie Avé has showered praises on the Ghanaian people for their tolerance and hospitality.
Speaking to Prince Minkah on XYZ Tonight, Madam Avé recounted her nice experience with the citizens and stressed that most people who come to Ghana from France corroborate her views.
She said unlike other African countries, Ghanaians don’t look down on her as a foreigner but rather welcome her everywhere she finds herself while she recalled a bad experience at the Makola market in Accra.
“Indeed I was wearing my heels,” she recounted how she tripped and landed on the floor “ridiculously”
at the market.
Madam Avé said people did not look at her and laugh, but rather the traders gathered around her to sympathize with her.
“They were saying ‘I’m sorry. Can I help you? Can I help you? They were very concerned… And someone rushed to get me a glass of water, and I was like wow! This is incredible,” she recalled.
