Franklin Cudjoe Just Finished A Meeting With Majority Leader; And The Agenda Is ‘Big’

The Founding President and Chief Executive Officer of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, Franklin Cudjoe is making some headway into the core of Ghana‘s 8th Parliament with some strategic meeting he just concluded on with the Majority Leader of Parliament, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu. One would be curious to know what the subject is, and trust me, it’s just an ambitious move to better the country’s development.

The agenda as one could envisage is a big one, as Franklin Cudjoe disclosed that the conversation boarded on some important matters of state that require urgent attention. Though he did note provide any detail, the brief as provided in his Twitter handle speaks volumes.

“Moments ago at Aqua Safari in Big Ada..brief chat with Ghana’s Majority Leader in Parliament over some important matters of state that require urgent attention,” Franklin Cudjoe noted.

He had already had a session with members of the 8th Parliament, orienting them on how the legislature can work their relationship with Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), to better the fortune of the nation. He drew on knowledge drafted by Dr. Kwesi Jonah, to orient the house.

“This after I had discussed with Parliament, Dr. Kwesi Jonah’s paper on Parliament’s relationship with CSOs. Grateful to the leadership of Parliament for the invitation to orient the 8th Parliament. For God and Country,” he noted in another tweet.

But for Franklin Cudjoe these interactions are nothing less of a privilege, as leadership of the House of Parliament recognizes his contribution and work to national discuss and development. Though very critical of government, his views have been very much appreciated by both political sides in parliament.

Soon, what he discussed with Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu would come public and many would get to understand the motives of Franklin Cudjoe.
