Ghana’s biggest rapper Mr. Sarkodie has endorsed H.E Nana Addo’s re-election campaign for the upcoming general elections.
The Ghanaian rapper has released a new track which he titles ‘Happy Day’ in which he rapped about the incumbent president to be given the nod to continue with his governance because of the benefits he has seen.
While the Happy Day song can be generally described as a track to praise God, the versatile rapper was able to infuse political messages in it as he endorsed Akufo-Addo.
At the end of the song, Sarkodie cleverly chips in the battle is still the Lord’s which has been a longtime slogan for AKufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) since he first contested the presidency in 2008.
