The Parliament of Ghana has summoned Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu, to answer questions regarding security measures on the outbreak of Coronavirus.
The Minister is expected to appear before legislators on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 to brief the House on his sector’s readiness to fight the deadly virus.
The Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, announced that the Minister has been programmed to address the House on Tuesday.
The summon is an acceptance of Minority Leader of Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu’s plea for the Health Ministry to further educate Ghanaians on safety measures.
He made the suggestion when he was speaking on the Floor of Parliament during its opening session on January 28.
