Deploy Military To Enforce Social Distance Protocol In Markets – Stakeholders To Akufo-Addo

The Chairman of Kantamanto Used Cloth Sellers Association in the Greater Accra Region, Evans Ofori has called on the president to deploy military to our various markets to enforce the social distance protocol to halt the spread of Coronavirus.

Speaking in an interview on Onua FM he said, people in markets places are not adhering to the social distance protocol after government lifted the partial lockdown.

Evans Ofori is appealing to the government to urge metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies to enforce the measures put in place by Ghana Health Service to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the country at our various markets and lorry stations.

Talking about efforts put in place by the leaders of Kantamanto market, he stated that enough Veronica buckets are provided at vantage points in the market and also traders are being educated adhered to all precautionary measures.
