DCOP Opare Addo was behind our attacks, removal of George Adjei – Member of NPP’s Delta Force

Karim Mohammed a National Security Operative and a former member of the Delta Forces has disclosed that DCOP(retired) Kwame Ayesu Opare Addo was behind attacks on the former Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator, George Adjei.

In 2017, Delta Force stormed the premises of the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council, demanding the removal of the Regional Security Coordinator, George Adjei.

The rowdy group destroyed some properties and forced the Security Coordinator out of his office.

The Regional NPP security organizer, Kwadwo Bamba who led the angry group to the premises of the Council said “we cannot work with him, where was he when we were struggling for the party to come into power?”

But speaking on Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM in an interview with Yaw Mensah Joel and monitored by Karim Mohammed who was part of the attacks on George Adjei said they were working on the orders of DCOP Opare Addo who wanted to occupy the said position.

He indicated that DCOP Opare Addo played key roles in the lead up to the 2016 election for the party and also wanted to occupy a position in order to benefit from the contribution he made towards the party’s election into office.

“I want to say on record that DCOP Opare Addo was the one behind the attacks on the former Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator George Adjei. He organized us to go and attack him and remove him from office. We know DCOP Opare Addo but the leadership of the party thinks that the new man can do the job that’s why he has been appointed. He didn’t sponsor the attacks on DCOP Opare Addo”.

“Opare Addo has recruited a number of peoples as National Security Operatives and what he does is that he sends them to sites to take monies. Even the site where seven muslims were killed, he was taking monies from that site. I want the Police to arrest him and I will spill a lot of secrets and reveal some bad things he has been engaged in,” he added.
