COVID-19: Case count surges to 6,617; 27 more recover- check the regional breakdown

Case Count of COVID-19 has spiked in the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service.

In the latest update, Ghana has recorded 6,617 cases which means the country has recorded 131 new cases of COVID-19 as against previous-case-count-of-6486.

27 patients have also recovered increasing the recovered patients to 1,978.

Greater Accra Region continues to be the leading region in Ghana thirteen regions which have recorded cases of COVID-19.

The case count in the Ashanti Region has also passed over 1000 positive cases.

Ghana has currently closed all her borders to human traffic to prevent imported cases which started Ghana’s infections.
