Coronavirus: Photo Of Obinim Wearing Nose Mask And Gloves During Consultation Time Surfaces Online

In the wake of the spread of coronavirus in Ghana, popular clergyman, Bishop Daniel Obinim popularly known as Angel Obinim has been spotted wearing face a nose mask and gloves during consultation session to safeguard against the deadly virus.

Although there have been a ban of all social gatherings including church gatherings, Obinim was spotted undergoing his normal consultation session.

In the photo we chanced on, the leader and founder of International God’s Way Church was spotted wearing nose masks and gloves during consultation whiles those who visited him followed suit.

The photo of Obinim wearing nose mask and gloves while he held his normal consultation has garnered several reactions among Ghanaians.

It could be recalled on Sunday,15th March 2019 that the President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo addressed the nation on the measures government has taken to prevent the spreading of Coronavirus after Ghana recorded 8 cases.

The President in his nation address announced that there should be a ban on all social media gathering such as church services/gatherings, funerals, political rallies and parties for the next four weeks as the government take measures to control the spread of coronavirus.

“All Universities, Senior High Schools, and basic schools, i.e. public and private schools, will be closed Monday, 16th March, 2020, till further notice. The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication, has been tasked to roll out distance learning programmes. However, BECE and WASSCE candidates will be allowed to attend school to prepare for their examinations, but with prescribed social distancing protocols…

[But] Establishments, such as supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants, night clubs, hotels and drinking spots, should observe enhanced hygiene procedures by providing, amongst others, hand sanitizers, running water and soap for washing of hands” President Nana Akufo-Addo stated.
