Young Ghanaian billionaire Ibrah One is urging the President of the Republic to free prisoners immediately to prevent the spread of the COVID-19.
This follows after the president issued a ban on all public gathering until further notice. Also the President, has ordered all schools in the country to be suspended for four (4) weeks as part of the preventive measures to curb the spread of the disease.
Ibra One wrote on his Snapchat story;
“I salute Nana Addo for taking this decision of suspending schools and all public gatherings until further notice.
This is one of his best decisions ever since he took over power.
But I’ll love to suggest that all prisoners who’re spending their jail time must also be freed to go home for now and come back later to continue their terms when things cool down. We all know the conditions in those prisons. If the virus should break out now, they’ll all die in matter of days.Prisoners are also humans, so they have the right to be freed as a preventive measure against the coronavirus.”
