Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr., has asked politicians to dissociate themselves from men of God who feel they are ‘untouchable’.
The renowned journalist, speaking to Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM‘s morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, was clearly incensed by the posture, utterances and attitude of some of these ‘men of God’.
“And they are saying all sorts of things…they say anything, do all sorts of terrible things and we are looking at them…nonsense; complete nonsense… I am advising the politicians who appear to associate with them directly or indirectly…they should have the courage to distance themselves from the nonsense that they are perpetrating,” he stated.
He said a time is coming when “some of us will have to start waging a sustained campaign against those particular prophets and church leaders or whoever they are”.
“We confronted the gun how much more this…I have been observing and looking at the scene and I think it is a dangerous thing. We shouldn’t let any of them feel untouchable; never, who gave them immunity? Who are they, what are they?” he continued to fume.
“At the appropriate time, we will mention them by name; scaremongering…some say they know where the Takoradi girls are…,” he added.
