Case Closed: Tsatsu Tsikata Has Failed John Mahama – Abronye Drops A Hot Gist On UTV

Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kwame Bafo Abronye has revealed that lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata has failed Mr. John Dramani Mahama in the ongoing election petition case.

According to Mr. Kwame Bafo Abronye, the law is about strategy and procedure. He indicates that big grammar cannot win court cases but arguments must be based on law.

Mr. Kwame Bafo Abronye was speaking on a program at Accra based United Television (UTV). He told Agya Kwabena who hosted the program that Tsatsu Tsikata has not been able to raise any substantial evidence to prove the case of the petitioner.

Mr. Kwame Bafo Abronye further added that all the three witnesses who have testified for the petitioner could not mount any proof to defend the case.

“Asiedu Nketsia did all the calculations in court and Nana Akufo Addo won. Asiedu Nketsia conceded the percentages in the witness box. He failed to bring single evidence of the election result in court. Now they have been outsmarted and they are looking for a window. Everybody in Ghana knows the case is dead. Tsatsu Tsikata is trying his best to make a strong case in court but it’s not working”. Mr. Kwame Bafo Abronye intimated.

Mr. Kwame Bafo Abronye further added that the move by Tsatsu Tsikata to cross-examine the electoral commissioner, by all means, will fail. He adds that Jean Mensah has not raised any issues in court to warrant her being in the witness box.

“Jean Mensah has not even been in the witness box to warrant a subpoena. Tsatsu Tsikata has failed the petitioner, he has no grounds again. The case is already closed. The subpoena Tsatsu Tsikata is calling for cannot work. Jean Mensah has not raised any issues to warrant her involvement in the case. Tsatsu Tsikata should have done a better argument in court for the petitioner”. Kwame Bafo Abronye noted.
