General Secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Aseidu Nketia, says the reassignment of Bryan Acheampong is a clear indication that the president supports violence.
President Nana Akufo-Addo yesterday reassigned two Ministers in his government.
A statement signed by Eugene Arhin, Communications Director at the Presidency, indicated that Bryan Acheampong has been moved from the Ministry of National Security to the Ministry of Interior as Minister of State.
The statement further said Henry Quartey, deputy Minister for Interior, is now Deputy Minister at the Ministry of National Security.
Aseidu Nketia in an interview with Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive noted that the new appointment is a total disregard for the Emile Short Commission which worked on the Ayawaso West Wuogon.
