John Peter Amewu faces Parliament today for vetting as railway minister

Member of Parliament for Hohoe Constituency Hon. John Peter Amewu will today stand before Parliament to be vetted as minister of railway development.

Hon. Peter Amewu who served previously in the office of the minister of Lands and natural resources and later as the Energy minister under the current Akuffo Addo’s Administration has been appointed nominated once again as the minister designated for railway development.

Hon. John Peter Amewu who contested on the ticket of the rulling New Patriotic Party in the Hohoe Constituency of the Volta region during the 2020 general Presidential and Parliamentary Election won massively against the opposition candidate of the NDC in the person of Hon. Dr. Margaret Quacoo.

Parliament will therefore decide on his eligibility for the position of the railway minister.
