Renowned journalist, political commentator, and Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has said the content in the offensive textbook portraying Ewe as juju-loving is worrying and a threat to the peace of the country.
Speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Kwesi Pratt said that the content in the textbook is worrying and does not deserve to be out in the first place.
The Managing Editor said this has raised brought about anger in the hearts of some Ghanaians and that can destroy the peace of the country.
“This textbook has made great damage and it is causing great pain in the hearts of some Ghanaian and that anger could be dangerous to the country. The contents in it are unacceptable and should not be published,” he stated.
According to Kwesi Pratt, it is surprising how a country will sit down to destroy its own by putting hate in the head of young ones indicating that “this should never happen anywhere never again.”
Meanwhile, the North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa Describing the publication as “offensive, divisive and incendiary” stated that it was important for the Education Minister to answer some questions relating to the development before students in schools get polluted with them.
