Patrick Allotey who turned the venue of the Super Clash match between Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak into a boxing ring has spoken.
WBO Africa Super Welterweight Champion on that day for no reason unleashed some heavy blows on one Michael Siaw who was just celebrating his team’s goal.

According to a member of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), Alhaji Tophic, the Boxing rules states that a boxer is not supposed to fight outside the ring irrespective of the level of provocation. Failure to do so will lead to his license been revoked.
Patrick Allotey after the incident has shown remorse and pleaded with Ghanaians over that unprofessional act exhibited.
“Yes I admit I did hurt him, but I am very sorry. I was provoked and I should have been calm. I can’t defend myself over this, all I say is I am sorry. My managers have been there already to plead on my behalf and I will be there tomorrow to do same”,he told Happy Sports.
“I will also plead with the GBA not to revoke my license”, he ended.
