25 Interchanges Promise: Maybe Roads Minister Amoako-Attah was drunk – Fmr MCE

The Minister of Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwasi Amoako-Atta may have been induced at the time of announcing the government’s plans to construct twenty-five(25) interchanges by the end of the year 2024.

“Amoako-Atta may have drunk something we do not know. He was induced by drinking what he drunk before coming out to announce a twenty-five interchanges”, former Obuasi Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Obuasi, Hon. Akwasi Ofori Agyemang Boadi suspected

During a panel discussion on Kumasi-based Akoma FM morning show monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the former appointee under former President John Mahama urged Ghanaians to treat promises of the Akufo-Addo led government with the greatest of contempt it deserved.

According to Roads and Highways Minister, “this is a government that is focused. This is a government that knows what is about. Members of the press mark me down that by 2024, 20 interchanges are likely to have been fully completed….like we would have had and we would have talked as many as 25 interchange in our country,”

But Mr. Akwasi Ofori Agyemang Boadi, an aspiring Ashanti Regional Secretary of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is of a strong believe that, the Akufo-Addo led government is full of propaganda and lies.

“For me, the lies and propaganda of the Akufo-Addo and Amoako-Atta seem endless. And I will not believe them”, the former Obuasi MCE told host, Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin

Mr Kwasi Amoako-Attah, in a press conference also disclosed that the Pokuase interchange will be officially commissioned in July to ease traffic on the Pokuase road.

“God willing first week in July His Excellency the President will officially commission the Pokuase interchange.

“It would have been brought to total full completion and this is a project that got started from the scratch by President Akufo-Addo’s government and this is an interchange which is the first of its kind in West Africa,” he stated.
